I found a few more pictures of Harris Beach that I took this summer. So, since we are still promo-ing I thought this would be a great time to post them.
Goat Island, originally named, due to the fact that the farmer who owned this area used to run his goats out to the island. Then the tide would come in and the goats would stay on the island grazing until it went out enough for the farmer to bring them back to the mainland.
Now the island is usually called Bird Island but I retain the old name because of the romance of the idea of the goats being kept safe from predators by the tides.
Of course, you are all welcome to look at all the pictures, but don't feel that is expected. They are all posted for the summerpics promo.
