Get out there what each one's pastor say. Hopefully we will all agree that what Pastors say should be off. Until then get it out there.

This guy is a lunatic. How could she go there Sunday after Sunday? A guy who "sends" people to hell based on how they vote.

Part of me says it doesnt matter who someones spirtual advisor is and there particular dillusions.

But the other part of me thinks this is another irony of the Palin VP selection and really wants to see how the Repubs on gather justify Palin and her pastor.

And were both of her parents born in Alaska....if yes then are they "natural born citizens"? Alaska wasnt a state til 1959...makes you wonder.

Since the looney tunes believe this stuff too and are afraid of black people, I don't think this unearthed sermon from Pastor Kalnins is going to upset them much.

I disliked the attempts to paint Obama as having some secret scary thoughts based on sentences by a pastor taken out of context -- both literally and culturally -- and attributed to his belief system like osmosis goes on when people listened to a sermon. God, would it were so, this would be a beautiful world. But it isn't. People sit there and think about what they are going to have for lunch. So, this is a tree I'm not going to bark up unless this stuff comes out of her mouth or is manifested in her policy statements.

There are already more than enough reasons to be alarmed without excavating her church background.

The only reason it's worth barking at, Julia, is because it's going to do one of two things:

1) Force the delusional wingnuts to realize that the ticket that they were suddenly so excited about it utterly pathetic.

2) Expose them as hypocrites once again.

Yes, there are absolutely more than enough reasons to denounce her as a VP selection, but this one is every bit as worthy as the others, imo.

That's all well and good, but I've known Assembly of God people in different places in my life and I've known Church of God in Christ people in different places in my life and I know both groups contain sincere Christians trying to do good and I find it painful to see participants of either group demonized based on a few quoted words that I may not fully understand because I wasn't there. I've sat in worship in Methodist churches and have heard those same ilk of a few odd words that might be the exact opposite of who I am or what I believe. You go home and say Pastor Ingvitch is sure an odd duck. Especially in a small town where there aren't a lot of choices and that is where you were raised or where your friends attend, etc.

What I think would be fair would be an interview in which Palin is confronted with the text and asked to respond. I hear she is not speaking to the press unless Dick Cheney can come, too. ;)

I'm less concerned about Palin's church past or pregnant daughter than I am about the brother-in-law she tried to have fired from the state police because he was going through a messy divorce with her sister. That kind of abuse of power is the same stuff we've been dealing with from the current administration for the last eight years. That is truly McSame.

Holy crap! Somebody 404'd the Recorded Sermons of Ed Kalnins while I was in the middle of watching his latest sermon. When the Real Player Window openned, the video started playing in the left section of the box. To the right of the video was a little info graphic that said the name of the church and a link to the church website. After a little while of watching the video, the infographic turned into a 404 message meaning that the infographic itself was a hyperlink and that the source of the image had been removed, which in turn happenned to the video but the video continued for a good little while before it froze. I guess somebody doesn't want anyone to see this guy's sermons. Although I couldn't imagine why, he seemed like a pretty upstanding guy, that is until the very last thing I heard before the video froze which now I can't remember for the life of me.

It's the Pastor's freedom of speech, I'm sure they made it worth his while. Funny that he would deny me access to his teachings on the ways of the Lord though. Not what Jesus would do.

Simply not true. Belief in the "end of days" or "end times" is fundamental and scripturally based. End-times prophecy is contained within not only Revelation, but Daniel, Isaiah, the Gospels, and 1st Thessalonians.
