Welcome Shadowtwin to our Family

Welcome the newest addition to our family. Shadowtwin. Shadowtwin is a 3 month old kitten.








She is all black and absolutely adorable. She is blind in one eye, but the other eye twinkles with mischief.
You almost can't see her with my husband as they are both wearing black. But she's a tiny thing who loves to cuddle.













She has had her first adventure. My four year old son was taking a bath. She was fascinated and had to watch the whole affair.








And of course, eventually falling in. Which did not thrill her at all. But live and learn. She will be more careful in the future.

We are thrilled to have a new addition to our famly. She is sweet, loving, gentle and calm. Everything we could have wished for in a cat. Help us in welcoming our newest family member, Shadowtwin.

I have used the user name Shadowtwin online for a long time. And seeing as how she is all black and blends so well with the shadows, I thought it was a suitable name for her. The user name also has sentimental value for me. :) Peace

Thanks Anicheri, I am amazed at how popular black cats are. I always thought people were afraid of black cats. But I have owned a black cat before and was really glad to have a chance to own another one. Although I have to be honest and say that I had a baby sitter who was terrified of black cats and made me lock her up when she baby sat for me. Some people are really superstitious. Peace

Yay! I love kittttieeeessss!!! My cat used to try to be near the water too, when I was soaking in the tub. Sometimes I'd catch him laying in the sink, or under the faucet in the tub, with the water dripping on his head.... ohh I miss him!

She looks very much like the cat I owned years ago named Midnight, also a black cat. My cat was a male, however, and quite a character in his own right. I still get a laugh remembering his antics to this day.

She is a beautiful baby. I have always loved black cats!! There is a stray that someone dumped here, but we have never been able to get near it. We put food out (actually my mother puts LOTS of food out, because people are always dumping their unwanted pets out here) it will eat, but if we try to get near it, it runs. I am sure it is either feral or was abused.
