Hubby and I took a little drive to Long Beach Island, NJ, which is about 10 miles from my house. Hubby had actually never been there before. The ocean is not his "thing". It's beautiful when the sun is setting on the bay side of the island. This essay shows only part of the island, the northern most tip - Barnegat Lighthouse.

I LOVE LBI!!!! I almost bought a house back in the late 60's there when there was NOTHING down there at all. Now it's crowded! LOL Great article we are about 60 miles from there, too close to Philly.
