I really don't know what I have in store for me over this coming year but one thing is for certain, it begins tomorrow. Tomorrow marks the orientation for my 3rd year of medical school. I'll be beginning with pediatrics and will soon have much that is demanded of me. I've posted a variety of pictures today and if you have a second, please have a look since I've added a few PAGES of new pictures. Please, even just taking a moment to view what I've posted will really make a difference! You'll be doing so much to help this poor med student do his best to afford groceries.
I'm hoping to get an early sleep tonight since I'll have an even earlier morning tomorrow (I'll be waking up at 5am). Wish me luck!!

As someone who has worked with doctors for the last fifteen years, you must remember one thing, you're human, too! So, don't sweat the small stuff!
We need compassionate doctors like you so hang in there and you'll do great! Sleep will be a commodity soon so grab it when you can.

I start classes for what is hoping my last year at the community college I am at on Wednesday... I think you have what is called the back to school jitters... It will be okay. Just remember to breath... And ooo I just had to deal with a med student out in PA when I had to go to the ER... It was hilarious... Even his teacher was almost ashamed at what he was saying after hearing this important piece of info: I am a Type 1 Diabetic with a high infection rate. Basically I was having a sinus infection which I was put on Bactrim for it. The student wanted to send me home taking decongestants... okay misspelled that, but fixed it.
Hang in there! I would be worried if you were not nervous! You will be fine. Come visit when you can and I'll take a look at the photos and posts when I have a few minutes.
Peds will be hard but it will be rewarding too
