Summer on Grand Cayman

In the summer of 1996 I traveled to the Cayman Islands with a man I had just met. Crazy, yes, but it was a once in a lifetime trip.

Transportation. I even got a temporary permit so I could drive while there:

One of the most memorable parts of the trip was sailing out to the ocean and going swordfish fishing. It took three men to reel this in, and it was STILL too small so they had to release it:


The "Pretty Lady". Legend has it that JFK used to bring Marilyn Monroe on this boat for secret liaisons. It even had a marble shower that was almost as big as my living room:
