McCain looks like a national scam artist, poised and ready to lead us further into worldwide distain and increasing isolation. Democrats will most likely need only to sit back and let Louisiania levees do the talking for them; it's doubtful they'll stand up to the rain Republicans prayed for. Might have done well to consider Atlantis' wise words.

McCain is just using the hurricane as a campaign move. McCain and the rest of the republican party could care less about working class and poor people. If it was not coming up to an election they would just stand back and watch thousands more die.

Gustav is a republican gimme; forced Bush & Cheney to cancel their convention appearances. You know McCain is a happy man. Now if those levees just hold.

Notice how liberals are so giddy about a life threatening hurricane hitting an already devastated Gulf Coast. Sort of sad that so many are indifferent about this -- as long as it's not in their back yard.

So it begs the question, has God has brought the wrath of Gustav upon New Orleans to punish the Republicans and reward the democrats? To start, they are now saying that 17 year olds shouldn't be having sex, that the girl should have an abortion (so much for choice), that Sarah Palin should have aborted her fetus when it was discovered it had Downs Syndrome (again, choice goes out the window), and that as a mother of five kids, she should not dare have a busy career (going backwards on Women's Lib).... it's funny to watch the moonbats implode.

....and, her 16 years in political life don't quite measure up to Obama's very short career -- I guess because she's a women she has a few strikes against her (in their mind).

All I heard Obama say was "I'll fire anyone who goes after children" and that he was activating his vast ntwork of people to help with hurricane preparation and assitance. When did he snip at Palin?

Who said 17 year olds shouldn't have sex? Is Sarah Palin Democrat? She is the one that preaches abstinence isn't she? Shame her daughter wasn't listening. If her own daughter won't listen to her, why should we expect all of ours to listen if she is VP?

No, democrats did not pray for rain. They don't think they control Mother Nature. Nobody wishes people to lose their homes and/or lives. Hurricanes happen. Rain happens. Since it was going to happen anyway, how fitting it occurs in the midst of their gathering.
