Being backstage at a dance recital is different. I end up helping out, but I'm just not good at most of the stuff that needs to be done. After almost 8 years one would think I could put in a bun...NOPE, NADA, NO WAY...
I've lost this article twice now...hopefully the third time is a charm.

Have to stay organized...some girls have upwards of 10 costumes...thank goodness Angela only had 3 this year.

The adult dancers are just like the kids...always ready to pose..and highly excitable.

A rare moment of downtime in the senior girls' room.

Make-up and hair has to get done...over and over....if you're in ballet, your hair is always put in to a bun.

The older girls help out with the younger girls.

Scenery changes are quick and take lots of hands.

Some costumes are ones that I am glad Angela didn't have.

A couple of Angela's friends.

All the youngest dancers are put together with a handful of parents.

Costumes vary greatly.

The three girls wanted a cl
ose up...

I caught the little ballerinas trying to run around the top floor of the theater...

It thought these ballet costumes were pretty.

Last minute make up.

And don't forget those shoes....
I will leave it here...I have lots more photos from this night...maybe I did a little overkill.

one of the funniest things I have seen was a dance performance
where the head dancer person organized a 'dance of dads'
to Bohemian Rhapsody
