Beautiful Garbage - GarbageOh look, my bias is showing. I love, Love, LOVE Garbage. That said this isn't my favorite release from them. Highlights for me include: the opening tune Shut Your Mouth which just rips and rocks, Breaking up the Girl is a rickety roller coaster ride, and the general Chrissie Hynde / Pretenders feel to it. The Garbage Mixer on the CD still kicks. Wish more bands experimented more.
File under: Savvy production.
Nick DrakeNo particular album, because we're brimming with the basics. We just select him as "artist" and hit shuffle, then play. His work makes me feel lonelier than a loon call, but damn it is beautiful.
