Karl Rove, the architect of the Bush Adminstration permanent campaign who is now living in semi retirement, ducking congressional subpoenas, recently had something to say about the idea of Obama picking Virginia Governor Tim Kaine for a running mate. Rove sneered that Kaine is the first term governor of a small place. Obama eventually selected Senator Joe Biden instead.
Fast forward to yesterday. John McCain selected Sarah Palin as his running mate. Palin is the first term Governor of a small place. In fact, the state of Virginia has seven million people and Alaska has around 700,000.
Paging Mr. Rove. Karl, we would love to hear what you have to say about Sarah Palin backing up a 72 year old cancer survivor for the presidency.

So I suppose Rove would agree that Sarah Palin represents extremely poor judgment (even worse) for John McCain.
Interesting.
It doesn't matter if Obama wing by a big or small margin he cannot effect any change that we need unless we have a congress that is not a group of cowards that hide under their desk everything a republican neocon makes a loud noise.
The public has to let the democrats that they have to do more than campaign for six years at a time if they want to keep their jobs.
The public has to take back the government or Obama will be held hostage by the neocons.
