All of the photos in this photo essay were taken from inside a vehicle. They aren't all that good unless you like photos of animal noses stuck in car windows.

Noses on parade:

Great car chases:

Some halfway decent shots:

I'm sure you will all be thrilled to learn that there will be a part two. I have almost as many photos of the part of this field trip that took place after the drive-thru part of the park.

I could have sworn I had a link to their site in my saved draft of this article since I was too lazy to Geotag every photo. I will go find that link and edit this.
Anyway, it's outside Springfield, Missouri.

I came, I 10'd, I left.
There were water buffalo. I think that's what's charging the car in one of the photos.
Is the ostrich really as big as the camel?
It's hard to remember but it was very tall. From the photo it looks like it's easily as tall as the camel.
It's John O!
Everyone! It's John O!
I could swear I've seen that llama before, but from a distinctly different angle...
You have seen that llama before. Excellent memory you have there.
I know we've been at the same place before, when our kids were little. They did not have as many animals back then and the kids felt cheated. We spent a lot on food that no animals came to eat. And spent more at the arcades and at the people food center.
Honestly, no. Not unless you have little kids that will be overjoyed to hand feed a deer. There's nothing all that exotic there. The zebra is about as exotic as it gets. My husband calls it Exotic Cow Paradise.
But you should go anyway because doing so will put you about 15 minutes from my house.
