A healthy way to start your morning even for people in a hurry.
Mango-Papaya Breakfast Shake
1 mango peeled cubed in 1/2" pieces
1 banana peeled, sliced in round pieces (*)
Sugar to taste (optional) (*)
6 to 8 ounces milk or cream (*)
1 1/2 cup frozen juice in cubes (*)
Combine all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
If you want to, you can add crushed ice to blender, but the frozen juice cubes should be enough. Blend for an icy cold shake.
(*) Sonia's notes:
I find I don't need the sugar as the sweetnes of the fruit is usually enough for us, but some people might prefer to add sugar or a sugar substitute.
You can also subtitute any fruit you wish as long as the quantities are the same as abor. Bananas do better when partially frozen as they will thicken the shake.
Sometimes I like to use a combination of milk and vanilla yogurt.
I like using apple or white grape juice.
Enjoy!

Same here, Donna....anything with mango in it has my vote!
Anne, two of my favorites also....
Richard, it would and also mid afternoon pick-me up snack...
I have been drinking a variation of this for a long time - change the fruit and change the juice flavor.........use yogurt and milk instead of milk and cream and the taste is different.
Never boring and always good!
I would prefer it in the afternoon...
this sounds absolutely wonderful.
Yes, Marilyn, of course you can, but it will not be as rich ;-)
