They scrape the ice off the skating rinks and pile it up in the park in the middle of June for the kids to play in and call it Snowfest. They make a pretty big deal out of Snowfest, as you can see.
These photos are from 2007. We did not make it to Snowfest this year.
The only problem with Jordan Valley Park is that there is nowhere to park except a paid parking garage. We took some shots from the upper floor where we had to park.



Of course kids were playing in the fountain while they waited for the snow to be delivered.

Eric met up with a friend from the homeschool group.


Apparently I forgot to take any photos of the actual snow at Snowfest. I must have gotten busy having fun.
