Our Trip to the Atlanta Zoo part 2 (photo essay)

I am not going to post every single photo that I took at the zoo, because I did take like 5 - 10 shots of every animal....and I will post in parts so I don't overwhelm you...

This tortoise actually was looking at me when I went to get the shot....yeah!!

The giant tortoises were just hanging out.

Have to get up close and personal.

This particular anteater was on a leash...and she was so neat. I know I have other photos of her...ah, found them... Look at the length of those claws..it helps her get into ant hills and termite mounds.

She was after a piece of food.

This lizard was just staring...and didn't move at all.

Angela with the lion statue. The lioness wouldn't cooperate with me. :(

 It was so hot that a lot of animals were just laying around in the sun.

Caterpillar on a log...of coarse I had to take photos...and Angela had to pick it up.

It's on Angela's arm...and it tickles.

Meerkat...I took a lot of shots of the meerkat...they are so fun to watch. I have to find the other meerkat photos...

Giraffe statue...have to get a shot of each and every one of the statues.

The elephant was just walking around at first....later, a trainer was having it do tricks.

The red panda wasn't cooperating with me either. These were the best shots that I could get.

This bird was the most interesting thing in the zoo... He was off to the side in an African animal area, and the noise he was making was odd. He sounded like a drum...yes, a drum. It was so wierd.
