Angela and I took an afternoon and visited Zoo Atlanta. It was very hot and very crowded...and very smelly. Out of all the zoos I have visited, this is on the bottom of my list.
We ran over to go to the bird show first....it was nothing special...and they only showed us a few birds.

This bird was great though...kept us entertained...she went after someone's pink painted toes in the front row. It was her own fault...the trainer asked her to move for that very reason, and she refused.

The gray parrot wasn't all that interested in actually talking to us. Bummer.

The panada exhibit is the big deal at Zoo Atlanta...and it really wasn't even crowded. All 3 of the pandas were separated this time.

I think this was the daddy panda...he was just sitting munching away on bamboo...
The panda shots were all taken behind glass too. I don't like to take photos with glass in the way...it's difficult.

Isn't she cute...she's the baby...but not for long. I've heard the momma panda is pregnant again....and this one will be taken to China.

YOu have to get one of these shots when it's just sitting there...lol

It was too hot for the tiger to move...not that I blame him.

Angela is in the bottom hole...and some child I don't know is in the top....he wouldn't move, so oh well.

The kangaroos were just laying around in the dirt...and I wondered why they didn't have grass to lay in. All other kangaroo exhibits I've seen have grass.

The farm animals were by the 'roos. The goats were there....but no horses or cows....

The pigs/hogs were wandering around a little bit...but not much.

Yes, I took shots of flowers and plants at the zoo too. People were looking at me funny (no comments needed people) for taking flower shots.

These parrots were just beautiful....
I will post more of my zoo photos later...Gather is getting ready to update, and I don't want to lose what I have. Thanks for viewing.
