We here at Because of all the Sandwiches There strive to bring you all the most relevant and up to date sandwich news so I plan to tell you about at least one of my favorite sandwiches every day in August. I know, I know. It's a lot, but variety is the spice of life!
Today I share one of my favorites for any meal, packed full of summer veggies.

Ham on a Hoagie
I'm always thinking about sandwiches (I usually eat at least one per day). This sandwich is another to take advantage of the garden fresh tomatoes and cucumbers. We try to slice them as thinly as possible (sometimes using the mandolin) and stuff as many layers as possible into a whole wheat hoagie roll. I love trying out different mustards so I used honey Dijon mustard on this yummy sandwich.

But this is the time of year when things can be done fresh! Experiment! Bad/fake cheese is another turnoff for me. Good bread and fresh vegies make all the difference.
