I just heard from Heather. The poor girl got up so early to go to her 1st day of classes and now there's nowhere for her to park since the machines that give out permits are broken. Otherwise, she'll have to pay a $30 parking ticket if she parks in the lot.

Poor Heather finally flagged down one of the campus police. I guess they knew about the problems but no one has fixed them.

Well, I think that the permits cost only $25 for a semester, so a $30 parking ticket seems excessive.
