Plants Poisonous To Cats

Plants add the needed finishing touches to any decor. But, if you have a feline, that beautiful plant could become a deadly enemy.


There are so many plants, household as well as plants in your backyard that can be highly dangerous to cats.

LOL My cat is too stupid to eat any kind of plants whether they are in the household or outside.

My Patches loves to eat my plants I am constantly shewing her out of them. And whatever you do ... Don't leave roses where she can get to them!!!!! She has ruined many a pretty rose for me!!!!

We have no plants or flowers of any kind for that reason. I love flowers but I love my cats more.

Good posting. For those that may not have time to go through all of it:
Avoid all Lillies These may be popular in the XMAS season, but are very toxic to cats.
Chrysanthemums are also poisonous (to cats as well as people).

I'll keep that in mind, I have a plant or two that might hurt him. Luckily they were already out of his reach. I was surprised to see the aloe and the daffodil on there aswell.

I have several friends with cats.
One that seems to never have any problems with her cat or what it does and the other friends' cats are always eathing thngs they shouldn't or getting into things. So I'll let those who need this, know about it.

thanks so much . you read my mind! My cat has been vomiting for 2 days. he is an indoor cat. i did find a piece of a plant on the floor, but it isn't the first time he has ate this plant. it never made him sick before. but, maybe this is the culprit, I guess it's out the door for the plant.
