We left Friday afternoon at 2:15 PM and drove for 5 hours before we stopped at a motel for the night.

The next morning our first stop as the Bonneville Dam. Bonneville Lock and Dam consists of serveral dam structures that together complete a span of the Columbia River between the US states of Oregon and Washington at River Mile 146.1. The dam is located 40 miles east of Portland, Oregon, in what is now the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area.

Yesterday, we also went to Multnomah Falls and the Portland Zoo. We met Faith and her family at the Portland Zoo and we had a great time! Of course I took LOTS of photos and will be adding those as I find the time!
Today we went to the Seasid Aquarium and the Tilamook Cheese Factory! Right now, we are at another motel. It's been pouring down rain all day long! UGH! We are still making the best of it though and hope the weather clears up so we can get some time on the beach!

What did you think of the Seaside Aquarium? Do you think it's better than the one at Newport?
