With your penchant for imagination, you'll go far. Makes me think of my favorite Dr. Seuss book McElligott's Pool--do you know it? Young Mario is fishing in a small farm pool and the farmer scoffs him. But Mario proceeds to tell him all the things that he MIGHT catch--why this pool could connect to the ocean by an underground stream! This 1947 book had a big impact on my life.
