The Starlite Drive-In Theatre - a Photo Essay

A few times each summer my friend, Tim, turns his backyard into "The Starlite Drive-In Theatre" and invites a group to relive (or experience for the first time) the joy of watching cheesey movies outdoors. Last night was "Chiller Theatre Night" paying tribute to both the drive-in and a local late night tv program from the past.

Well done, MJ, looks like a blast. You know, the South High Drive in is still in business..we try to make it at least once a season, but not this year yet.
Wil and I were at the South High the weekend before last. It's about 5 minutes from our house.

LOL... I lived about 5 minutes away from there for about 15 years, till Bill and I moved north. I lived in the Southern Pines subdivision...small world...

I lived in the south end for more than 20 years and hoped for improvement the entire time...keep hopin' sugar, but don't count on Coleman moving to S. 4th st. anytime soon.
