I wanna be a rockstar, Daddy!

Elliott loves music.  We watch some kind of music DVD every single day.  Lately we've been watching the Wiggles most days, but we also watch Kidsongs DVD's, and we have a couple of episodes of the Doodlebops saved on the DVR.  He has the pink Keytar from the Doodlebops, and when we put in one of his DVD's, he grabs it, jumps up on the fireproof safe box we have (it makes a perfect stage) and rocks out!  When he gets tired, he sits down, but continues to play the keytar.  The other day we were watching the Wiggles, and I told Elliott that he was my little rock star.  He looked at me really seriously and said "I'm gonna be a rock star when I'm big!"  I told him that was great.  When my husband came home and asked Elliott how his day was, Elliott told him "I wanna be a rock star, Daddy!  Just like Hannah (Montana)!"  He then decided it would be fine to be a rockstar like a Wiggle or Doodlebop as well.

All of these pictures were taken this week.  It's only in the 40's right now, so that is why he was wearing a long sleeve shirt in some of these.

What a cute child
Warning! That's how it gets started! My son and his band are about to release their album. He's had some kind of musical instrument in his hands since he was able to sit up.

MJ, that sounds like Elliott. When he was 4 months old, he got his first baby piano, he played with it ALL the time. He still does sometimes, but usually now he either plays with his keytar, his drum, or he pretends to play guitar or the drums. He also has a nose flute that he can play. He thinks it's so funny that he can play it better than my husband and me!

A friend of mine is a full-time muscian. He has a portable keyboard that looks a lot like Elliot's! The crowd gets a big kick out of it when he plays it like a guitar. You never know, Elliot might be playing on stage before you know it.

how adorable! My kids love the wiggles, doodlebops, kidsong kids and hannah too! I'll even admit I love it as well! :) I took my three youngest kids to see the Wiggles in concert as well as the three oldest to see hannah montana in 3D at the movie theaters. The Hannah one I say I lost 3 hrs of my life at lmbo but the Wiggles one I was so sad to see it end. It was so awesome and upbeat. Loved it!
