To recap, my mother has been teaching my daughter Angela to sew. Since we live in Georgia and mom lives in Michigan, time is always rushed when we visit.
I finally took a couple of photos of the pillow Angela made. I think she did a great job, and she really wants to learn to sew other things. Angela is begging to fly up to see Grandma and Grandpa, but she's been back in school 2 weeks now.

The pillow is sitting on our chair, that's why it's wrinkled up. This is the back side.
Angela loves dogs. Can you tell? LOL

This is the front side of the pillow. Now Angela picked out the material herself too. Since she did everything start to finish, with my mother's supervision, I am trying to get Angela to enter it in the Georgia fair. Angela is a 4-H er after all.
What do you think?

My own grandmother and my Mom were my first sewing teachers. At about the age of 4, Gramma would put me between her knees on the sewing chair, she would operate the treadle (Yes, a treadle) and her hands would guide my tiny fingers and the fabric past the needle.
Sewing is a skill that will stay with Angela throughout her life. Fabulous!
Angela, you did a great job. I hope you had fun and want to do more.

Of course not by me, no patience.
But if you have patience, a good eye and a desire to create this is an art that will serve you well Angela.
Well done.
