Last Night's Sunset (Photo Essay) (Repost)

I was curious why my grandfather was calling my from the back porch to get out there and get the camera. But, I grudgingly stopped what I was doing on Gather, grabbed my camera, and went out to join him. I certainly wasn't disappointed once I saw what he was looking at.

The first picture came out a big dark.



But I messed with the camera a little and the other ones were a bit lighter. This was the view from the back porch:





I was curious (because the back porch does not face west--it faces north), so I started off the porch and made my way to the side of the house, where I took these pictures:





I kept going further yet (because, again, the side of the house is not west--you have to go out a ways into the front yard to be able to see the sun set in the west). Well, I was quite happy that I made the effort to chase the sunset, because this is what I found:





It was absolutely beautiful! Just thought I'd share it with all my Gather friends. :)
