Recently I was reviewing a post at Prevention that visited six health myths. A few were familiar to us but I learned quite a bit more about soda, including diet soda. Do we do ourselves a disservice by drinking carbonated beverages?
There were other great tidbits in the article...many of which we knew about, but we didn't want to know that much about. Look don't eat any food off the floor, none, nada. Tackle your kids before they put that stuff in their mouths.

Rebecca, definitely not as dangerous as cigarettes but all the hidden chemicals, or if not hidden, nobody realizes how crazy they are, why they are there and don't know how much they just aren't necessary. I do think they get people addicted to the beverages somehow...since they know they can't count on the caffeine since many avoid it I would hazard a guess one of the other artificial sweeteners is addictive. Do you hear the x-files theme now?
