Some of the neatest, deepest red sunsets are caused by the oncoming storm front. Here's a series of shots from a storm earlier this year as well as some lightning shots from last year.
These were mostly taken with my Canon Powershot A560 camera, but some were with the HP Photosmart and one is from a Concord Eye-Q Duo. No editing has has been done to any of them except copyright and one crop on the lightning shot.
