Ode to you, my faithful friend
And all the grass you did rip and rend
The little snakes you tore asunder
Filled me with a sickened wonder
The pinecone you spit upon my leg
That left a bruise resembling an egg
The filters, sparkplugs, and the fuel (indeed!)
You demanded weekly, you thankless steed!
Now you left this mess as you did die
And your replacement's cost has made me cry!

Seriously, this is one of the best poems I've read on Gather. I could just feel you giving the mower a big kick.
RIP you piece of steel
