Of course, because of our fear of heights, my mother and I were dreading the ski lift down. It's 600 feet up, so when you're going up it's all good because you can't see how far down it is when you look. On the way down, you see everything, including your life flashing before your eyes!...lol.

Here are the prices for skylift tickets, if you're interested. You can also walk up, but I wouldn't if you're claustrophobic.

And here is the view on the way up the skylift:

And finall we made it, safe and sound, with a few more gray hairs. This is the trail to the bridge.

There are a lot of different trails you can take to get different views of the bridge. We didn't go on them because it took too long and not everyone was up for the extra walking.

And then the view from the edge.

This is the view across the top of the bridge.

And then more to look at on both sides.

There are even stairs there that lead you down and under the bridge if you want to get pictures there as well.

If you're claustrophobic, though, I wouldn't go down here. This is why:

But the view under the bridge is well worth it.

If you're a bit tired at this point, there's a cute little gazebo that you can rest in and enjoy the scenery.

And then there were paths a bit further down. We looked, but decided it wasn't worth going down. The older folks were too tired.

And then the moment we all dreaded...time to make the descension! Hold your breath and hope they don't stop you on the way down to let others on!

Make sure you wear tight shoes, too. Sandals just don't work. Ask the person who lost theirs!

All in all, it was a really fun trip! The terrifying ride on the ski lift was definitely worth the view. :)
