Prayer Request For My Uncle Urgently Needed Please.

My uncle, Pete, is in going to be having surgery today for the second time this week.  He had his colon removed Sunday in an emergency surgery.  He came out of surgery well, and two days later was unresponsive.  An infection was found in his blood on Wed. evening, and yesterday he was found to have fluid inside of him that should have been in his new colostomy bag.  This is all very serious and life threatening.  Please pay for his strength during his second surgery, his ability to fight infection on many fronts, and his family as they stay by his side, especially his wife, Arlene.  Please also pray that the cancer found in him stops its progress.

Two weeks ago, Pete had never looked better.  He felt great and could not believe he had internal bleeding, a condition he has had reoccure many times in the last few years. Doctors were never able to find a cause until most recently.

Pete is a very special person.  He is a father of six adult children, a life-long volunteer at our church, and a man that is very kind and loving to his family and wife. He babysits for his grand children and great grand children.
