When I lived in SC I knew a young man, an artist, who as a young boy was the assistant to a Coca Cola sign painter. Later as a grown man, he drove all over the state and took pictures of the buildings on which he had helped paint Coca Cola signs as a boy and then used them as subjects in his series of Coca Cola paintings - his name is Jim Harrison and he lives and has a studio/gallery in Denmark, SC
