Look what "SheWhoTalks and Listens" did to my photo...it's amazing (with photos)

The kids and I were in Virginia helping out my brother when my niece turned 3. Since she has a summer birthday, an outdoor party was in order. I just happened to capture this photo of Rebecca and her little friend. He was giving her a birthday kiss.

I posted the photo on Gather for one of the photo contests. SheWhoTalks and Listens emailed me about it. She took the photo and did wonders with it.

From SheWhoTalks and Listens - "I edited the photo first and then  I painted a couple of pics from the photo. Hope you like them. One is "mixed media" - computer drawing, painted in with oil and drawn over with pencil (I had fun! LOL) Then the other is straight watercolor."

I wish I could remove backgrounds...wow! Very neat.

Isn't this just amazing!

She did such a wonderful job with these. I need to contact her and see if I can get some copies of her work. I am not going to put her real name up, since I don't know if she wants it everyone to know it.  Check out her other work if you have a chance. SHe is at  http://shewhotalks.gather.com/

These are excellent. There's something special about two small children giving each other a kiss. Innocent. Sweet. Timeless. Capturing that is always a treat.
