Joke of the Day: Excuse me, but does anyone know how many houses I have? (UPDATE)

Aren't the houses really the property of McCain's rich wife? Nevertheless, McCain is living on a different plane than most of us, and has little appreciation of how the recession is hurting the average middle and lower class Americans.

That picture of McCain says it all!!! Looks like he's holding his breat until he turns blue, just to show how sincerely he R-E-E-E-A-LLY wants, so very badly, to be THE President of the U.S, or...SOMETHING,... ANYTHING!!!

Who cares how many "houses" either one has? Why is it so important? What impact does it have on the Presidential race?

McCain has a LOT more money than Obama. He could buy seven more houses, if he wanted to. So what?!?

McCain is living on a different plane than most of us....so is Obama.

Obama may have one house but does anybody know who helped obtain the land for his house? A convicted felon named Tony Resko. Obama still has remained silent about the seemingly nefarious land deal and I can guess why.

It would not matter if Obama was not a hypocrit. If you are going to call the other guy a hypocrit, at least know some basic facts such as how many houses you own.

The question at face value is irrelevant to the voter. Put into context all that has been said and done, it could not be more relevant. Here is a guy who said during a debate in January that America was better off than we were 8 years ago. Well, if you have so many houses that you can't count them, maybe you have no idea what Americans go through. Maybe the last 8 years were better for you.

This is not good for McCain.

Who doesn't know Rezko. His name was even mentioned during a debate! Rezko was tried and convicted and Obama was not accused of any wrongdoing. This Rezko is old news.

Of course they are because Obama is a stuffed suit and could never win this thing with his fumbling bumbling "nuances" (as they call them) and his inability to project a coherent thought without a teleprompter telling him what to say. He is just as bad as Bush.

Look team Obama are hoping that this is a George H. W. Bush moment when he didn't know the price of a gallon of milk in 1992. I don't blame them for grabbing a lifeline while Obama has been skidding downward. But the networks don't hold the monopoly on information anymore thanks to Al Gore's invention....the internet.

All of the McCain properties are held by Cindy McCain and most are condominiums. A couple are for sale because they were bought for family members temporarily and haven't been sold yet. Others have Cindy Mccain's relatives living in them. McCain is a U.S. Senator running for president. I would be shocked if he knew all of his wife's dealings with her family in an off the cuff loaded question. I don't blame any Obama supporter for desperately clinging this story because Obama isn't giving you anything to write home about.

Actually it is inflation that is hurting middle and lower class. There is no recession.

Why did the McCain campaign release a statement stating that Cindy is an only child because she did not grow up with either half sisters - the one from the dad side who received $10,000 compared to $100 million for Cindy or the one from the mom's side.

Ooops! UPDATE!!! The count has now gone up to 9 houses. He forgot about a couple. That happens to me all the time.

Carla, don't feel bad. I understand that it's easy to lose count until the media or tax officials alert you. If it weren't for outside sources, I doubt I'd remember how many children I have and I know I'd never keep count of the car.

You must admit, though, Sandy, that the Republicans have done an excellent job of totally confusing and brainwashing people to the point where they can make statements such as this and actually be serious.

Well it's just that they won't take good jobs being offered mowing lawns or cleaning up after the nice rich folks who want to help.
