10 T unsalted butter
2 cups flour
2 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
2 t baking powder
1/2 t salt
1 cup chocolate chips
2 eggs
Put butter in a small saucepan over medium heat. Cook for about 5 minutes or just til lightly browned, stirring frequently. Pour into a small bowl; cool for 10 minutes.

Preheat oven to 350°. Spray a 13 x 9" baking pan with cooking spray.
Combine flour, sugar, baking powder and salt in a large bowl. Stir in chips.

Whisk together butter and eggs til creamy and smooth.
Pour butter mixture into flour mixture; stir just til moistened.
Spoon batter into prepared pan; smooth top.

Bake 26-30 minutes or til a toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.
Cool in pan on a wire rack.

I once had the best recipe for these butter drop cookies with a browned butter frosting but I lost it They were soo good
