A Child Operates a Camera Clumsily at Park Day (with bonus pics of Mom being stupid)

These were all taken at our homeschool park day last week by my daughter. When you consider that she has won ribbons for her photos two years in a row at the Ozark Empire Fair, you won't believe how bad some of these photos are.

I'm hoping Doyle will adopt her as a student and tell her where she went wrong so she can do better next time.

There are, as always, some really good ones in the bunch. Those are the ones I will drag and drop into this article. The rest I'll leave in the filmstrip thingie.

No can do. I don't work that way. I'd be happy to tell her where she went right and offer suggestions for her to consider on how to improve though . . . I never tell people where they went wrong. That's tough for an artist to hear about their work. Are these all her shots? Very cool. I have a fly on a daisy shot myself that looks VERY similar! :) And I'd be happy to offer any advice she may want.

Yes. They are all hers. She did have me take few of her that day but I'll post them separately.

Ahhhh . . . She's already got some talent going then. Congratulate her for me on these . . . particularly the Daisy Fly shot . . . I love already the way she thinks!

These are great. I love all of the ones of you playing on the jungle gym and going down the slide and some of your facial expressions. You daughter can take some pretty good photos.

Thanks for posting to Kids and Grandkids.
She has an eye for composition. Knowing how to point the camera isn't trivial. People can learn the technical stuff a lot more easily than how to point the camera right.

she did a good job. She did lots of things right so I will actually leave a real comment, not a snark one. I like the flower pics. i also like the ones of you and Eric.

They are not. It took me over a year to find an identical pair to the ones Miranda is talking about so I bought two of them when I finally found them.
