Pickin' Raspberries... A photo essay

My kids had never picked raspberries before.  Last week, we decided to go to a local farm and pick some fresh raspberries just for fun!  And of course to put on top of vanilla ice cream! :)  The kids had SO much fun and they picked raspberries for almost an hour before they were ready to leave!

BTW, they were DELICIOUS!

Oh that looks like alot of fun. I miss picking rashberries.....My kids all love them. I wish the prices would come down in the stores.

How do you know which farms will allow you to come pick stuff?

Such cute pictures. It also brought back memories as a kid picking wild raspberries/blackberries with my brothers and sisters. They look delicious.

I picked so many raspberries as a child. We had 5 long rows and every other day while they were ripe, we had to get up at 5 AM and start picking. My brother and I along with our parents would work out there for hours, then sell the berries at a local fruit stand. Wish I had a berry patch now. I love raspberries.
