Photos taken from atop Europe's Highest Sea Cliff - Cape Canaille, France!

One of the most exciting parts of our summer vacation was traveling to the top of Europe's highest sea cliff, Cape Canaille, near Marseille, France.  The views were unbelieveable!  It was a beautiful clear day and I got LOTS of photos (imagine that!!).  An added bonus was spotting two guys climbing the cliff and a small plane flying into the cove, which you'll see in my photos.

Roy, the 7th photo showing "the head" is a 394m cliff! That's almost 1293 ft. tall!! Canaille means "mountain that swims in the sea."

I haven't been here (and it looks just beautiful), but I have been to the Cliffs of Dover in England and just loved that. When I went, there were wildflowers everywhere.

the highest sea cliffs in europe are in ireland. croaghaun in county mayo at nearly 700 metres and slieve league in county donegal at 600 metres.
