Have you been keeping up with all this junk about the Bigfoot hoax? I think it is all just a publicity scam to get some free advertising for Bigfoot websites. Have you noticed every article about the thing has the name and sometimes even links to the sites? There's an old saying that bad publicity is better than no publicity, and you better believe those sites are seeing increased traffic thanks to all this media exposure.
As far as the scam, it's one know scammer claiming he gave money to two new scammers. I think the whole thing is BS and he never gave them any money. One of the guys involved, a cop, has already been fired. He was off duty after having been injured on the job. Watch him come out with a huge lawsuit that he plans to use for retirement. I can't believe this bunch of crooks is getting so much attention.

I'm a little disappointed. Part of me wanted it to be true. How exciting that would have been.
and your right there is not such thing as bad publicity so these people were in a win/win situation either way this would have went. Hope their enjoying their little fifteen seconds of fame lol
