I went through and browsed around to get a few shots of summertime with my family to share with all of you. So here goes:

This was a shot of a rose bloom after a rainstorm. My family and I had went on a walk after the rain one evening.

Here are two of the youngest die hard St. Louis Cardinals baseball fans that I personally know. We are Missourians and the Cardinals are our team.

Summertime is never complete without lounging in the backyard next to the kiddie pool and watching the kids play. I also remember my husband and I mowing that grass several times. Nothing like the smell of fresh cut grass.

We also had a few trips to the McDonalds play-land this summer. Especially on days when it was just to HOT to let the kids outside to play.

This summer was the first time my four year old daughter swam in the big pool. It was a very special moment. She even made a new friend (behind her).

This was one of my favorite blooms I photographed this summer. It was just sitting pretty by our fence post.

It's never summer without my husbands fresh juicy tomatoes in the garden. This year we have gotten many juicy red tomatoes. We have also given our neighbor basketfuls of green ones, for fried green tomatoes.

Summer isn't summer without sidewalk chalk. My daughter, the budding artist, mixed the chalk with water to make paint. She took off on a feet painting adventure on the sidewalk.
This was a photo of my front flower bed. I personally believe no summer is complete without the sounds of laughter.
