I live in a beautiful town called Guntersville in Northeast Alabama, on the Tennessee River/Lake Guntersville..about 40 miles from the Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville....the place that they build rockets...

My lovely town as the night approaches and the fireflies come out I see the twinkling lights from the distant shore....

One of the many public beaches on the Lake.....

We pick up a friends son on their pier for a short boat ride...He is a kidder...
we see some men enjoying themselves..we all wave

We pass under the river bridge the gateway to our peninsula town
We are on our way to see the lighthouse..a home that the owners just keep building
Oh, I forgot as we went we saw the Debi Sue going for a spin...

We traveled back pass the bridge and saw a real big river boat as we returned home

This is my "Golden Gate Bridge"

Beauty goes into the night and what a summer day!
Thank-you for taking the ride with me....

You made me want to visit and see it myself!!
Just beautiful!
that kid looks like a young Leonardo DiCaprio
This showed me a side of Alabama I have never seen.
As always, reciprocating your comments.... thanks for commenting on my 5th Question in the 25 Days of Christmas Questions!
Thanks.
Additionally, I enjoyed your Colorado photos because my niece, Susanna, just moved there. She is following in her aforementioned grandfather's steps and pursuing her graduate degree in physics at the University of Colorado at Boulder.
What fun to view these worlds through your camera lens!
