I'm Loving ChaCha!

Despite a little bit of controversy about the pay changes and other big changes going on at ChaCha, I am really loving working for them!  I think the company is growing, and they are just in the organization stages and have a lot of people just resistant to change.  I haven't been there long enough to notice any bad points or changes that aren't fair to the employees.  I really like it!

ChaCha is a text messaging service that answers ANY question from ANY cell phone from ANY where!  It is a free service.  If you have free text messaging on your cell phone, it is compeltely free.  If you have to pay for text messaging, you only pay your cell phone company's text messaging rate.

ChaCha Guides are the people behind the scenes working from their computers at home answering all of the questions that come in to ChaCha!

Some of the questions I get are:

* What is the tallest building in the USA?

* Why isn't Michael Phelps' father at the Olympics?

* What is the address of the Texas Roadhouse restaurant in Tyler, Texas?

* How do I ask a girl out that I really like?

Basically, this is a service for people who aren't next to their computer to Google something quickly for information they need.  Have you ever been out with friends and come across a question that several people disagree on?  Just text ChaCha, and you get an answer within 5 minutes!  It's such a great service!

I get $0.10 per search, which doesn't sound like much, but it has really added up since I started ChaCha on August 1.  I sit down and do ChaCha searches for maybe an hour every other day or even only three times a week.  I have already made $85!!  As soon as I get past the training period, I will be making $0.20 per search, which will double my earnings!

You also get a percentage of the earnings that people you refer earn.  Those earnings aren't taken away from your teammates, but are added as a bonus to your own dollar amount!  So, say you refer your friend Lucy to ChaCha and she earns $500.  She will get her $500, but YOU will get $50 just for referring her.  The great thing is that there is no short period for referrals, it lasts forever!  So, as long as your referral people are working for ChaCha, you constantly get those bonuses!

You don't have to work a specific schedule for ChaCha.  You simply log in whenever you feel like doing some searches.  You can work at any time of the day or night.  Weekends and evenings are great for making the most searches, as they come back to back.  I like to sit and do ChaCha while I'm just relaxing and watching television.  I have so many new facts in my head now just from the 2 weeks I've been with ChaCha!  I like to tell my friends about ChaCha and even use it myself from time to time!  My husband and I used ChaCha the other day to find out the address of a specific store in the area.  We also used it to ask specific questions about the World Series of Poker.  We got fast, great answers back for our questions!
