The New York grandchildren met some of the So. Calif. grandchildren right before our boy Jerrad was due back from a tour in Afghanistan. Marlyce and I rounded them up.
Nothing beats a thrilling Hula Hoop session. That's Marny in the back getting the other side of the view I shot.

The crew decided to head to the coast. Thats when we passed this street artist sprucing up the drab, cement view from the parking area. He seemed quite talented.

The Pier we were originally headed for (Photo taken at a different time). We decided NOT to go to it.

Jenna was very reflective on this day.

Here, at dinner in an excellent local restaurant, Cyd plants one on her cousin . . . who blushes hard, fast and strong.

Leaving all the grandkids with ll the parents who had them . . . Marny and I went home to discover her cactus (a night bloomer) had given us a remarkable treat.

Summertime memories using some summer pics.

And what beautiful children you all have. :)

THEY have . . . ours were all the spawn of Satan . . . wait a minute . . . that came out bad on me somehow. Anyway, true to the way it usually goes, by the time the kids were fit to live with they were living on their own! :)
Thanks Esther! :)
And.... The boy child is cute when he's embarrassed! : )
And s - t - r - e - c - h - e - d too! How in the hell can you showcase decent work like this? It's worse that it seems to have affected some more than others . . . presumably related to pixel width and possibly file size. Makes some of my work look worse than my grandfather's with an instamatic and a flash cube. . . . Did you notice how EACH shot lined up exactly with the next one when I centered them? Guess what? They're not the same size shots!
/Ends artistic conniption fit.
Says you. Apparently you failed to notice the effect this had on some of my photos.
"And.... The boy child is cute when he's embarrassed! : )"
I suspect he'll outgrow the embarassment. I practically have already. :)
[ Nope. Still doesn't work for me. ]

Yes and know. You can see my wife is getting a shot of me in photo #1. So there are some. On the other hand . . . it's me with a camera in my face! :P Then again, that may be how they remember me best in the years to come . . . choked up with emotion when they pass a Nikon on display. Wait a minute, I already do that. :)
