AUTHOR'S WEBSITES LINK EXCHANGE

Most authors today have their own websites. You almost have to have one, to reach the vast numbers of people who utilize the internet.

One of the problems that we, as authors, face is not getting the numbers to our websites to help sell our books.

This concept is not my creation alone. Another Gather member, Saralee Rosenberg mentioned it in an e-mail to me the other day.

What happens is you will add a link to my website and I'll add a link to yours. Hopefully that if a number of us do this , that we'll attract new prospective buyers to our websites and we'll get sales. This is very inexpensive - the only cost is a few minutes of our time adding a link to our websites, but as authors, we need to stick together and try helping each other out.

There's a certain amount of joy in knowing our books are being bought and read by people other than our immediate friends and family.

This Gather community has a number of authors, and I'm not familiar with most of them. Hopefully I'll get to know a few more of you, as this link exchange grows.

You have excellent and helpful ideas Ernie. I am so sorry I became so ill, and missed the guidance and tips I know I could have picked up from you through group. I did get a few in tho, after the first of the year before all Hades busted loose healthwise with me. You are so appreciated for your talent and fairness, here on Gather, and certainly other literary circle's as a talent and a great person..I am sure you will hear from a lot of fine authors.
