I've noticed quite a few people have gone back and are editing older photos to add the summerpics tag line. Pam Johnston posted a new article with a Questions and Answers section, and stated that in order to get the 10 points, the picture has to be a new publish, not an older image edited to add the tag.
So, remember- you can republish the photo, but old ones will NOT get the 10 points!!
She also said people are allowed to post pics from prior summers as well- and if it's a non-summery looking photo, please use the caption section to explain the photo!
Photo essay pictures count, as well, as long as they have the summerpics tag line!

I just want to make sure people realize that the older pics won't get points, and that Pam even suggested reposting the same photos (though I would think just once per photo during the promo) to get points for the same pic ;)

Bummer! I just published a photo essay of part of my vacation. I don't know if I want to go through the trouble of republishing it.....
