I am so glad that I bought my digital camera. It's the first one that I've ever owned.
I couldn't really afford it, I could have used the money to pay bills ets. But, becoming more active with gather, a camera is pretty essential.
I found this GE 7.0 megapixel A735 camera on sale at Walgreens for $79.99. I had a register rewards coupon for $5.50 that I used, so I paid $80.85 with tax.
Look at what I've been able to do on gather alone with it! I've been able to take part in some of the photo challenge groups such as Rainbow Connections and Zoomit. I've been able to put together lots of photo essays, with lots more to come.
The family memories are great too. All I need now is some discs to put the pics on in case something would happen to my computer.

I just posted 15 photos from our church swimming party and picnic this past Sunday evening if you would like to go take a look at them. I will be reposting several pictures later today and in the days to follow. I will be including pictures from family camp. They aren't in my photo section anyway as I put the in as photo essays.
Am I a bit excited?? YES!!

I just bought a new digital for the company that I work for yesterday (company credit card of course)
It was a Panasonic Linux and was 309.00.. This camera ROCKS !!
