Soaring with the Seagulls of Palermo, Sicily (Italy)!!

While on vacation in the Mediterranean this past June, my husband and I spent some time in the harbor port of Palermo, Sicily, an island off the coast of Italy.  The harbor was full of various ships... but what I enjoyed most was watching the numberous seagulls soaring all around!  Beautiful and graceful creatures.  So I thought I'd share abit of that experience with you... come join me while we soar with the seagulls!!

i just love these shots, the other day coming from the zoo in the parking lot there were a bunch of gulls. Me being always prepared had two bags of bread, tossed one bird a piece and soon were were surrounded by them, it was evening so the shots didn't come out very well.
but just being with them was great and i can edit the shots to make them artsy. hopefully heather got some better ones than i did. Ive never understood how a lot of people just dont like them, they are just so cute, birds with duck feet LOL what could be better

They are all beautiful but I especially love the glow of sunlight on the water. It is so golden and peaceful and such a perfect accent to the blue,blue water.
