I captured wee faeries in gossamer
blue. Dancing a minuet in
opalescent dresses that shimmered
and sparkled fr
om the rays of the sun.

Gliding through flowers,
alighting on each,
tasting the nectar.
sweet wine to their lips.

Tickling their senses with
tootsie roll pops, they
alight on the grass to
take a small rest. The breeze
sounds a melody from
the birds and the bees.

Tis a simple melody,

an ancient song that
leaves me laughing
at the break of dawn.

Soon enough, the
Blue faeries depart
Leaving a sweet memory
in my heart.

We could do with a few garden gnomes in our garden. We are always in search of good luck.
A magical garden indeed.
I hang out with the Magical Poet, as do you....hang on, your faeries and castle are coming. Lol!
Your article is Featured in the Triple Name Club.
I miss those days of shimmering bright faeries dancing in the summer sun!
Very nice!
You may not believe this but, I had no IDEA that they liked Tootsie Pops!
I must run right out and buy some!!! IMMEDIATELY!!!
I knew you would love my wee blue faeries.
Sharing my life with faeries I DO cherish.
You have such pretty fairies in your garden!
But when the work was done, we'd grab towels or tablecloths, some clothespins or rope, and we'd escape into the magical woods. Our imaginations were full volume then, and there wasn't anything keeping us from being Superman or Tarzan (well, except those science things like gravity and inertia, which didn't work on us as much then, as they do now) (((smiles)))
Your fairies are beaut. My fav is the one where the younger beauty has grasped the throat of that daylily, and looks as though she's singing into a mic. Those rounded arms and smooth cheeks surrounded by silky hair, framed in pastel dresses of flower tones....
These lovely young women are the flowers in your garden, and they are precious indeed.
Excellent photos and wonderful whimsical words make this a daydream of an article.
You are blessed,
Wilka
These young women are my most beautiful flowers in my garden. That picture of Sage grasping the lily is my favorite too. I thought she was going to eat it.
I would love for you to be my teacher if I were young again. These little faeries are beautiful.
