Are you a cat or a dog person? - A survey :)

I just wanted to do a survey of Gather members as to whether you consider yourself a cat person or a dog person.

Try to choose just one answer that suits you more even if you have both cats & dogs.

I'm a dog person, My husband is a cat person.
My dog follows me no matter where I go. He tries to follow me to work every morning.

I have had both cats and dogs throughout my life. I have two birds, have had rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, gerbils, a skunk. I love 'em all! But I firmly state that I do, indeed, speak cat better than I speak dog! So I guess that makes me a cat person!

I have to say I'm a dog person, but I was turned ever so slightly when we rescued the 3 cats we now have. But all in all I am still a dog person I think.

I've become more of a dog person since I got my pit bull who is now 10 months old. But I also have 12 indoor rescue cats. I can do more with the dog, as I can take him places with me which I can't do with the cats. Dogs are more interactive and can be trained. Cats are independent.

I am emphatically a cat person! Dogs are acceptable ...under certain conditions, but cats are, and alwayshave been, my companions of choice.
