But the points are dropping so fast...
This isn't someone who is not agreeing with me...
It's just plain cruelty...
I have never gotten points this low before...
Why can't the Gather moderators keep these people from doing this?
Can't they see who is deliberately doing this?
I don't want to do this any more...
It's too painful...
I might have made my goal too...
We are half way into the month and I am halfway there already...
But this is not fun any more...
When I get through crying...
I will come back and delete my posts...
Yes...everyone in the group will get this...
Because I don't want to be a part of such hateful folks...
I know many of you aren't, but it's just too much to deal with...
I know in time what goes around will come around back to them...
And their desires and dreams will be squashed like an ant...
While others stand around laughing at them...
It won't be funny to them any more...
For they would have reaped what they sowed...
They will have no one to blame but themselves...
I needed a family so bad...
I don't have one any more, for they are all gone...
I was hoping to find it here...
But I guess it wasn't meant to be...
So long to the ones who tried to help...
But it's not worth dealing with this crap on a regular basis...

If points are slowing down, that may just be the site moving slowly to update.
If they are low-rating your work, it doesn't count towards points.
Only page views count towards points. The ones you receive and the ones you give.
Not ratings, not comments, not pings, not emails, joining groups, or anything else.
This is direct from Tom Gerace, Gather Owner, when they put Hawthorne in.
Keep doing what you are doing, if you are half way to the goal then keep on. Don't concern yourself with low-raters. As long as they are viewing your page, they are contributing points to your goal.
You will only hurt yourself by leaving. You will be cutting yourself off from the friends you have made here and from the ones you will make in the future.

It is possible that you have drawn some negative attention due to your recent posting habits. A review of your recent posts show that you published content every few minutes, and much of this content was copied verbatim from other sources on the web. This type of content violates the Terms of Service (TOS), and your posting frequency probably wasn't looked upon as good 'netiquette' in the community.

The cash option is nice but try writing some original articles with worthy content and things will go smother for you.

It seems that very few people have really read your posts. If they had, they would realize that at least since day 12 of your membership, you haven't been able to get along with some folks or play well with others. You have been whining and complainning to gain points for months!
