Here are a couple of pics of the garden in mid-july. Things have been growing very nicely, especially considering this was our first attempt.
The basil has gone to seed. Here's a basil flower with some strawberry flowers in the background.
The carrots are growing nicely. Last time we took pictures they were just tiny sprouts. Look at them now:
And best of all, our first harvest. These green beans were yummy!
These pictures were taken around July 25th, and since then we've harvested more green beans, a couple of strawberries, and a small cucumber. Still hoping for some carrots and squash before the end of the growing season.
