Have you seen any good movies lately? I've managed to go the movies a few times in the past couple of weeks, and have enjoyed several good ones. Here's what I've seen so far:
The Mummy 3: Tomb of the Dragon Emporer - If you liked the two previous Mummy movies, you will like this one. It's more of the same kind of stuff that makes for good summer entertainment.
Pineapple Express - This is a funny action comedy about a couple of stoners who find themselves being hunted by a ruthless drug dealer. Imagine if Cheech and Chong were a couple of goofy white guys, and that's what you'll see in this movie. I thought it was hilarious.
The Dark Knight - Believe the hype. This really is one of the best superhero movies ever made, if not the best. As an action movie, it also plays very well. I applaud the minimal use of CGI, and of course Heath Ledger gives a knockout performance.
